WINGHAM MUSICAL FESTIVAL
This event is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and is held in October each year at the Wingham Showground.
This awesome three day festival celebrates original music performances in an outdoor music space with two stages, exhibition marquees and interesting market stalls.
Join us for a wonderful 3 day festival presenting local and touring artists playing diverse musical styles including well-known Australian icons performing live on stage.
The festival is a family friendly event, with live entertainment and workshop activities catering for all ages and interests.
WINGHAM BEEF WEEK
Wingham Beef Week is a week long event based on all the facets of the beef industry giving students, juniors and producers a rare opportunity to participate in live assessments, carcase assessment and evaluation , meat judging, beef appreciation, workshops, parading, and judging competitions.
The event aims to educate at the ground level, the next generation of our future junior beef enthusiasts in a hands on environment to increase their knowledge and exposure to the Australian Beef Industry through education and competition.
BONNIE SCOTTISH FESTIVAL
A tradition to Wingham, the Bonnie Scottish Festival is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and run each year in May by a dedicated group of volunteers through the Manning Valley Historical Society. Bagpipes, shortbread, tartan, haggis and whiskey all feature in this festival!

WINGHAM RODEO
Wingham Summertime Rodeo is an opportunity for bronc riders and bull riders to put on a thrilling show as they compete in front of a holiday crowd. All the action happens on the first Saturday in January.
WINGHAM CHRISTMAS CAROLS
In December Wingham plays host to the annual Christmas Carols. Festivities include a sausage sizzle and games for the kids. Come and enjoy carols under the stars.
A DAY IN THE COUNTRY
The heart of Killabakh’s close-knit community is it’s heritage hall. It is here the valley comes alive with the annual ‘Day in the Country’. Killabakh is in the hinterland of the Manning Valley, on the NSW Mid North Coast, and just a 4 hour drive from Sydney. Set against the backdrop of Mt Goonook and the Comboyne Plateau, this outstanding event helps raise funds to look after the hall and it’s beautiful surrounds.
MOUNT GEORGE BILLYCART DERBY
Mount George Public School’s annual Billycart Derby is held in conjunction with the Back to Mount George Festival.
Design it, build it and race it, the event encourages kids to get creative. There’s markets, fun activities and live music – a great day out for the whole family.
CHRISTMAS STREET CARNIVAL
Every year on the 2nd Thursday of December, the Wingham Christmas Street Carnival is held in Bent St and Central Park in Wingham. This is an opportunity for the community to celebrate the year and enjoy some festivities and many activities.
Ham raffles, BBQ and community group stalls, Tug-O-War, Lucky Shopper docket draws, Carnival rides and much more are on offer each year. Santa will also be there, so there is plenty of fun for the whole family.
BUSKER MUSTER
Isabella Street comes alive with local buskers including singers, instrumentalists, dancers, bush poets, comedians, jugglers & more in a competition.
